Tempelhof Sounds is an inclusive and open-minded festival and firmly believes in equality, diversity, and sustainability. In the spirit of our society’s diversity we are creating a cultural meeting place where it does not matter where someone comes from, how someone looks, which language someone speaks, which ethnic group someone follows or who someone loves.
This year we succeeded in creating a line-up with an above-average number of female artists for a German major festival, as it is also our goal to establish diversity as a basic building block in festival booking.
It is important to us to bring to view the diversity of our society, to support the shift towards more tolerance and equality and to emphasize these views at our festival.We communicate this intention and attitude to artists, partners, service providers and crew members as well as to our visitors. Racism, fascism, anti-Semitism, political extremism, sexism, gender discrimination, homophobia and any form of discrimination have no place with us and will never be tolerated.
